The Gibsons Landing Harbour Authority (GLHA) is a non-profit, community-based organization
that has proudly managed the federally owned small craft harbour in Gibsons, BC, since 1998.
Over nearly three decades, GLHA has become known for providing a safe, efficient, and
well-maintained marine facility that supports commercial fishers, recreational boaters, and
marine tourism operators alike.
GLHA is seeking a dedicated and strategic Harbour Manager to lead the day-to-day operations
and long-term development of the harbour.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and dynamic leader with a solid background in harbour or
marine operations, regulatory compliance, and financial management. They are a
forward-thinking professional who excels at balancing operational oversight with strategic
planning, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
A collaborative approach and a deep respect for community values are essential, as is the
ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multifaceted marine environment. The Harbour Manager will be
a key figure in guiding the future direction of the harbour and representing GLHA at both local
and industry-wide levels.
This full-time leadership role reports to a delegate of the GLHA Board and offers a competitive
salary of $75,000-$80,000 annually.
